“The Power of You” Summary

This book is for mental survival. The ideas presented are lifelines for stabilizing and maintaining mentally health, even when tragedy surrounds you. They also supply strong holds to grasp onto to assist in climbing out of disparaging moments.

When the author, LaVerne McGrath, was posed with the questions, "If you knew then, what you know now, what would you have said to your son to help prevent his suicide? How do you stabilize and maintain a healthy state of mind, when thoughts of giving up and dying start floating into your awareness?", this book resulted. It is with a heartfelt wish that this shared information helps others gain wisdom to maintain mental wellness and avoid and/or conquer the pain of despair.

All activities/tools in the book have been exercised, utilized and proven to be effective; however, what works for one person, may not work for all. So, please do try them all. The more tools you have in your toolbox the better prepared you are!
